The Gloucester Township-Pine Hill Rotary is partnering with the B.A.R (Blackwood Area Revitalization)  to organize a clean-up day of Farrows Run.
The Interact Clubs from Highland and Timber Creek High schools will be attending and volunteering their efforts to “Clean the Stream” on Earth Day, Friday April 22, 2022 with an April Showers date of April 24th.
The club will meet at Meadows Diner for a quick breakfast and an educational lesson from local environmental author, Brian Burns. Meadows Diner is graciously donating breakfast for the Interact Club members. The public is welcome to join for a cash breakfast starting at 9am.
Public participation from Gloucester Township residents assisting us with the clean-up efforts starting at 10:15am, meeting in Meadows Diner Parking lot. We ask those participating and arriving by car to park on Lake Ave to leave parking for patrons of the diner.
We are also seeking donations of
-Lawn/Leaf Bags
-Trash Bags
-Work Gloves
-Twine
-Yard Tools (Specifically – Loppers / Pruners) for clearing out overgrown weeds and dead tree branches
